I tried posting this on BB's support forums (got no response) and on another site but no one has been able to fix this issue yet.

I have a Bold and I am trying to do a backup. I am on a hosted BES system so I do not normally sync with my computer but I would like to make backups locally just in case.

When I hook the Bold up it is recognized and everything, but when I go to backup I get an "Unknown Error" on the first part of the backup when it is trying to backup the E-Mail Filters databases. How do I get this to proceed? I do NOT want to wipe my entire BB and start over with apps, themes, BBM, etc. Please help! Thanks.

Things that I care about backing up (need to do an OS upgrade): Memo Pad, themes, BBM w/contacts (so I don't have to re-add them)
Pretty much everything else is on BES, apps I don't mind re-loading although would prefer to keep them (mostly just Google Maps, Yahoo Go!, amAze GPS)

Things I have tried unsuccessfully: using Adavnced backup (won't let me put databases back on the phone), deleting the Desktop[SYNC] service book (allows me to get much further in the backup process but fails on "Camera Options")

Any help is really appreciated!!

Delete the Browser cache from this screen. Should clear up things to allow a backup. Lots of threads around here on this topic.

Sorry, meant to say that I cleared all of the cache's as well, still no luck
