Default Charging the Storm

I've had a lot of blackberrys. I must say that the Storm takes a lot longer to charge than any other blackberry I can think of. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I use my leather pouch that I received with my 8830 it helps with the charging time. Since it turns off the backlight while charging.

I have turned the phone top up & bottom up, forward & backward in the pouch and the magnet seems to always turn off the screen just fine.

It does take me longer to charge the Storm than it did for me to charge my 8320. But I believe this has to do with the battery capacity - or so I have read. Or maybe I'm mixing things up.

I think it has to do with the flimsy charger which they've changed to. Not enough juice!

if your phone is on while charging it'll take a long time...radio drains your battery a lot...especially 3G

if you enter bedside mode and charge (or turn radio off OR have a AUTO ON/OFF timer) it'll charge just as fast

(Possible left field thinking)

Im coming from being a RC enthusiast and build/race electronic RCs. I know in the whole RC arena its a better situation to take time to charge your cells. We use Lithium Polymer and if I can take an extra 45 min on a lower "trickle" going into the car it will keep it going longer and the cell remains more consistent.

Im assuming these are 1 cell 3.7V? Id imagine if they are 2 cells running together then we might be balancing them too?

Just wanted to throw that out there, may be I'm completely off but it has me thinking.

I always charge my Storm in the Cradle that I picked up from Verizon, seems to charge like normal for me. However, I will agree that USB charging is much slower than with past blackberries.
