Default Total NOOB Question

Please Login to Remove!

OK
What do I do with .jad files?
I have downloaded a few of them to try the apps out only to have the dt manager tell me that it can't find any compatible programs for my device.
Can someone point me to a nOOb faq or something so I can get this thing figured out?

Thanks in advance.

Ok first your. Not a noob I made that mistake. You have to get it "OTA" meaning you acess the link on your blackberry browser to install the app. I do recommend having unlimted data though

Welcome to the forums!!! like Jacob said a .jad file is a OTA (over the air) download so if your want weatherbug lets say and it is a .jad file just go to the link on your BlackBerry Storm and it will automaticly ask you to download the file..

So then downloading them from a web site is useless?
I guess that means I have to try and find where I got them from and go there on my BB to install?
I guess that makes sense.
Thanks I'll give it a try.
