I'm using Bold, is there anyway to make the weekend Friday instead of Sat. & Sun. ?
This will help me to adjust the alarm correctly (weekends off) instead of doing it manually.

If I am correct you are looking to change your calendar options to have the week ending on Friday instead of Sat. or Sun. Correct???
If so, go to your calendar and hit the menu button and select options. go to general options and change the Formatting for the First day of the week to be Sat. this will change everything on the calendar for the week ending to Friday.. I hope this is what your referring too! Good luck........

It is not the calender beginning date, it is the holiday.

i dont think u can, just change the date and turn the time/date auto adjust off.
maybe knock up a quick theme, and remove the date from the home screen
