Hi... I have 3 e-mail addresses on my bb. However, one of them just dont work at all?

any tips to resolve this issue? should I go on to BB website, delete the address that is not working well and then re-set up again?

Thanks

Do you use Outlook for that address? I ask because I know that a lot of times that I've helped people set up their email, if they use Outlook and it's open somewhere on a desktop, you can't set up that email address.

Really? I've had that happen quite a few times. I worked for at&t and had run into it more then once. Customer calls to someone who is near their desk to close Outlook & we can proceed with activation.

Check out the FAQ. There are two sections dealing with email that might be able to shed some light on your issue.

First, do you have a BB data plan? You must have that to use email.

After setting up your email, did you resend the service books?

Did you try pulling the battery out (with the device on) for about 30 seconds, reinsert and let the device reboot.

Do you have "Leave Mail On Server" checked for each account that you also receive on you PC's email client, i.e. in Outlook Advanced Settings?

Email takes 15-20 mins to start flowing.

All else fails, delete the accounts in BIS and readd them.

Never heard of it or had it happen in my 10+ years of dealing with mobile phones, outlook, etc.

I'm willing to admit, I could be wrong. I've been wrong before in my life and I'm willing bet that I'll be wrong about something else in my lifetime. Maybe this is the next time for me to be wrong
