Default Application/Flash memory on 8900

Please Login to Remove!

I read somewhere that the 8900's shipping from T-mobile right now have only 128MB of flash memory, and that phones shipping later in the year will have the full 256MB. Is there a way I can figure out how much flash memory my phone has on it?? I know how to check free memory - it normally shows somewhere between 100 - 110MB of free memory. It seems like the OS/included software is taking up an awful lot of space, to be leaving only 100MB out of 256MB free.

Can anybody shed any light on this? What do other users out there see for free memory on their 8900s?

there is no way that is possible... it will have 256MB out of the box no matter what... however the OS does eat up a good bit of that memory, but still 100-150 mbs free after the OS IS still alot...

I have the 8900 and it has 256MB of memory. Out of the box I had about 130MB free. This is a new OS and the processor is a lot faster so it will eat up more memory than the 8320 or 8100.

You can probably get more of it, once you deleted the unnecessary stuff.
