Default Backing up 8320 data to 8900?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello guys,

I currently have 8320 and I will be ordering my 8900 tomorrow. My question is, if I back-up my 8320 to Blackberry Desktop Manager... can I restore the stuff such as phonebook and text messages to my 8900?

Yes. Your 3rd party applications will not be restored using this method.

Or you could follow these steps to backup and restore your 3rd party apps.

Switch device wizard will work if you have both devices at the same time.

correct. he could always do what i did, wait until the new device arrive then do the switch. I think that would probably be the easiest thing to do.
