Are PIN numbers machine specific or Sim card specific ??

So if I upgraded to another BB, by switching the SIM card, does the PIN change or remain the same.

They are associated with the actual hardware of the device... (the wireless modem internal I think). So switching SIM will only take your phone number, NOT the PIN.
