I dropped my phone in a creek the other day and everything works except the keys. I believe the white board that the buttons press on is fried. Is there anyway to get a new one of those?

And you allowed the BlackBerry to dry out how long, without the battery?

I let it sit in rice for a little over 24 hours and put the battery back in. It comes on and i can receive calls and messages and the ball will move.

Give it three more days with the battery out, in the rice, on top of some heat emitting electronic device like a cable TV tuner box.
