It seems that when I charge my phone or whenever I turn on my phone the wi-fi turns on. I don't want it to turn on unless I do so manually, to save battery power. The "wi-fi options" under " manage connections" doesn't have a "keeps this shit off until you manually turn it on" option.

Any ideas?

Make sure wifi is turned off before you power off the phone. Shouldn't kick in automatically. Otherwise try a battery pull and see if that helps.

if the battery pull has not helped then its a software glich. Try wipe handheld. Besure to backup and sync your data before you do the wipe.
