Well, I just got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 with T-Mobile and I have Unlimited Texting the 300 minute plan that cost around 29.99 a month. I was wondering if MMS would cost extra to do? Some said it costs $0.50 per MMS. Is this true? Or does the unlimited texting cover it?
Also an off-topic question. Is there a way to receive and send emails just using wi-fi? I got the internet browser to work but I'm not sure how to get the email to work without a dataplan.

Texting is for SMS
MMS is not a SMS, it will cost more.

Nope, you cannot get emails to work without a data plan.
you'll be lucky to get MMS to work without a data plan.
MMS is service book related, service books are data plan related.

Shame I wanted to get my emails, well, I'll use my iPod touch for it I guess.

No data no email except via the Wifi browser. You basically have an expensive phone with all the capabilitys of the blackberry lost when out of Wifi range.

Yeah, I'm usually home when I need the internet so I didn't buy the data plan.
