Default Can't hear or talk on phone?

Please Login to Remove!

For some reason, after a plane trip when I used my Pearl to listen to music, I've been unable to either talk or hear on connected phone calls.

Sorry to be vague, but I may have messed up a setting somewhere, but I have no idea where. Is there such a setting that has this effect? I can hear my music fine, either through the handset or the speakerphone setting [in media, while a music file plays]. I can call out and receive in-calls, and register a connection, but I can't hear anything, and the person on the other end can't hear anything either.

Failing this, is there a setting that allows me to reset my BB to its defaults? Looked for that too...can't find it if it's there.

Thanks in advance for any advice or info...

Default Seems to be fixed!!!

After conferring with Bell mobile support and getting nowhere with anything else, I followed the Rep's suggestion to attempt a last-ditch repair, and performed a wipe on my Pearl.

Amazingly, the phone features on my handset seem to be working again!

Now I'm seeing how well a data restore is going to go...

I'd still love to know what went wrong in the first place....
