Ive had my storm less then a month, and the screen seems to have shifted a bit. I have to try hard to hit enter using any messenger service, ( in portrait view) so difficult in fact that i type in portrait and then turn it to landscape to hit enter.
Go to your local Verizon store and they will replace it. The same thing happened to me, but I know why my screen got that way...I dropped it in the sand! I am pretty sure that granules of sand got under the screen and made clicking impossible unless I "floated" the screen around which I am sure was just crushing the sand underneath the screen.
Anyway, Verizon will be more than happy to replace it with a refurbished Storm, and you should be up and running again.
