Default No Hsdpa On Storm2???

Please Login to Remove!

Looking at the blackberry website I can see that the storm2 does not have the HSDPA box ticked. It does have the HSPA box though, is this the same thing?

From what I can tell HSDPA gives a max download speed of 7.2 while HSPA gives 3.6.

Is that correct? Blackberry obviously think they are different enough to list separately but I have not managed to find much to clarify the issue. I've heard the Storm 2 is slow to access full webpages and wondered if this was a reason?

Cheers

High Speed Packet Access - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HSDPA is one thing, HSPA appears to be a connection of HSDPA and HSUPA.
From the link, thats what I can understand anyway.

Cheers, I already saw that but since some blackberry handsets are marked (on the RIM site) as having HSPDA AND HSPA but the Storm2 has HSPA but NO HSDPA it was a bit confusing.... Was hoping to get that clarified. Might just be an error on the sheet but I would have thought that product descriptions were the one thing they would want to get right.

On another note I phoned the tech support call centre in America somewhere, poor bugger didnt even know what an IMEI number was. lol. Gave up on that one....

Anyone know the answer?

Ive found (particularly when comparing devices) that RIM's site is not reliable.
even such details as how much memory, can sometimes just not be written.
