Dear BB experts,

I'm a total newbie to BB world and am looking for some expert advice here...

While the media player allows to play songs based on genre, artists, playlists, albums, etc... I do not find an option to play songs based on the folders I have created on the media card.

I have separate folders for Rock, Indian Music and R&B; and if I need to play songs only from the Rock folder for example, how do I achieve this? I am using the media player that came with the BB. any help will be highly appreciated.

Take a look at this:

Open the media app. Open menu, select explore. Navigate to your folder. From within the folder, you should be able to open the menu and then select play folder. If you are one level above and scroll to highlight the folder (do not open), you should have a menu item for play subfolder. If because of a different OS you do not see it exactly as I do, you should see the same general capability, I believe, and so experiment.

you can create playlists. create a playlist, add your music files which are in "rock" folder. there you go.
