Hi,
I have a Bold 9780 running OS 6.0 Bundle 1879 (v6.0.0448 Platform 6.5.0.136). My carrier is Simple Mobile.

The text messages that I send to international number don't reach the intented receipients (I am sending to Singapore, China, HK and India - the problem is same regardless of the country). I can receive the messages however.

My address book has the +countrycode phone number
ex: +91 88-99001122
Changing it to +91 (889) 900-1122 doesn't make any difference.

I can make calls regardless of the format though.

The same SIM works just fine when used with my Nokia phone or even in an unlocked iPhone.

Any help would be appreciated.

What country are you in?
Is your Smart Dialing set to the proper country code for the country are you in?

I'm in the US, not roaming. My country is set to USA.

Tried to set it to "unknown" but it automatically sets back to USA.

You said you could make calls, international also?
Based on some reading, it may be you dont have international roaming but the senders in the other countries do so you can receive but not send.
